Villamartin

Villamartin is an urbanization located on the Southern Costa Blanca. Villamartin is popular with holidaymakers because of its golf course the Villamartin Golf Course. Villamartin is only twenty minutes away from the Murcia Airport of San Javier. Many people choose to just book a private transfer or hop into a taxi to reach Villamartin as the resort offers a courtesy bus during the tourist season to nearby La Zenia which also has the nearest beach.

If one would like to have a closer look at the Villmartin Golf Course there is a Villamartin webcam located on the 15^th fairway with glorious views, Las Ramblas Golf Course and the Campoamor Golf Course lie just minutes away from Villamartin. Villamartin Golf and green fees at the Villamartin Golf Course start at €37 from the first of June until the 11^th of September while during the rest of the year green fees are a reasonable €51.

Villamartin Plaza is home to most of the restaurants, bars and pubs as well as shops and banks. Villamartin nightlife can be enjoyed at the Villamartin Plaza too.

Villamartin has three hotels. Villamartin hotels start at around €36 a night at the Playa Golf and the Marbella Golf Apartments while at the Residencial Novogolf rates start at €65 a night. Of course there are also apartments and villas for rent by the week or on a long let basis. There are also some luxurious villas with private swimming pools for rent right on the Villamartin Golf Course.

Villamartin is pretty busy all year round, because of the golf course and the beach close by at La Zenia. Usually Costa Blanca resorts are fairly seasonal being very busy in the summer and often ghost towns in winter.

Villamartin weather follows the Mediterranean climate patterns of very hot summers with temperatures a constant thirty degrees centigrade and the guarantee of no rain. Villamartin has the odd shower in the winter, sunny mild days and temperatures can easily reach the twenty degrees mark. In the autumn months the weather is hot but with no humidity. In the spring it can be hot on one day and very cold the next with the exception of June where temperatures soar and rival those of August.
