Vera Playa

Vera Playa is Europe’s premier nudist beach resort much in the same vein as the Costa Natura Resort near Estepona on the Costa del Sol which was Spain's first nudist village founded in the late 1970's.

Vera Playa is located six kilometres away from the sea side resort of Garrucha in Almeria and owing to it semi arid climate allows people to swim in the sea all year round. The nearest airport to Vera Playa is Almeria Airport which is just over an hour away by car. It is not only the beach that is a naturist one but the whole resort of Vera Playa caters for that experience.

The Vera Playa beach is two kilometres in length and is made up of sand and pebbles. The resort of Vera Playa itself is made up of two thousand privately owned apartments, a four star hotel which is the Vera Playa Club Hotel, bars restaurants and shops.

The Vera Playa Club Hotel also allows guests to experience the naturist way of life. People can choose from self catering, half board or all inclusive meal plan options and rates on a weekly basis start at £425 in the low season on a half board basis. Fourteen nights stays start at £700 on a half board basis.

Vera Playa nightlife has something for everyone on offer. Gay Vera Playa bars in Playa Vera include the A’Divina and the Corner Bar Vera Playa. Enigma/Templum is a disco bar for swingers and the Chez Tri-al is a swinger club. Duet Vera Playa is a night club and La Perla Negra is an erotic bar.

Water park fanatics can visit the Parque Aquatico Vera which is open from May until September.

Vera Playa is at its busiest in the summer months, but many Northern European visitors come in the months of June, September and October when Vera Playa is a little cooler and quieter. Vera Playa weather is so mild in the winter that naturists have the pleasure of swimming in the sea and come home with an all over tan.
