Of all the Spanish Costas, the Costa del Sol attracts most of the foreign tourists, especially the glitzy jet set which head for Marbella and Puerto Banus. The Costa del Sol is the most southerly stretch of coastline and has more than three hundred and thirty days of annual sunshine.

Torremolinos is located to the east of Malaga Airport and had its origins as a poor fishing village. The seven beaches of Torremolinos include the Playa Bajondillo, Playa La Carihuela, Playamar El Retiro, Playa Los Alamos El Canuelo, Playa Montemar and Playa Saltillo. All beaches are linked with each other via the seven kilometre long promenade.

Torremolinos is a popular holiday destination for families and children owing the the beaches, weather and availability of cheap Torremolinos hotels and Torremolinos apartments of which there are an abundance.
