Torremolinos is the nightlife capital of the Costa del Sol. Torremolinos offers more than two hundred and fifty restaurants featuring every imaginable cuisine, with a good selection of Spanish, Chinese and Italian restaurants. Some of the best bars and restaurants are found on and near the beachfront in an area called La Carihuela which is the upmarket area of Torremolinos.

Bars and restaurants are open until late and the nightclubs generally don’t get going until the early hours of the morning.

Torremolinos has hundreds of discos, nightclubs, music, cabaret and show bars as well as a popular gay scene which can be found in the La Nogalera area. Gay Torremolinos is represented by clubs such as Abadia, Contactos, and Morbos. The top gay disco in Nogalera is Tension. The El Gato Lounge was the first gay bar to open its doors in Torremolinos.

One of the busiest streets with clubs and discos is San Miguel so be sure to start your evening there. The local bars, show bars and cabaret bars provide much live entertainment and lap dances with audience participation.

The biggest and most popular discotheque in Torrremolinos is the Fun Beach which is located on the Avenida Palma de Mallorca. Fun Beach has several dance floors and a swimming pool and the staff all wear swim suits.

The Palladium is located on the Avenida Palma de Mallorca which also features a swimming pool, a DJ, strobes, spotlights and closes its doors at six a.m.

Oscars is located in the La Nogalera area and is a disco bar popular with the older members of the public.

If you are visiting Torremolinos in September then you can party in the local fiesta for the patron saint San Miguel. With over two hundred thousand people taking part it is a sight for sore eyes.

Eugenios is a popular disco bar in the centre of Torremolinos popular with the mature crowds. Admission is free and on Ladies Night ladies get one free drink.

Shenanigansis an Irish Bar offering Irish beer and live entertainment.

More venues to dance the night away include Pipers, Atrevete, Voltage and Taberna Pepe Lopez, Kiss Bar, El Open Arms a popular karaoke bar, Tina’s Bar, The Viking, The Rock and Garfields.

At the local auditorium Principe de Asturias you can enjoy ballet, shows and concerts with seating available for eight thousand spectators.
