Terra Natura Murcia is a new age wild life park where they practice the concept of zoo immersion where exotic animals live in their natural habitats. Terra Natura Murcia has an area of 165 442m2 and is divided into two themed areas, the African Savannah and the Iberian Peninsula.
At Terra Natura one can see more than three hundred animals form fifty different species and over 500 plants from over 50 different species of trees and plants from the Murcia region.
At Terra Natura Murcia this fun day out for the whole family takes onthe angle of education as well as shows, live entertainment and adventure.
Shows at Terra Natura Murcia include Flights of the Birds of Prey, Feeding of the Animals, Up Close with the Animals, and Terra Natura Murcia which is show with sea lions takes place at the Aqua Natura water park from October until May while the slides and flumes are out of use.
At the Tsavo Station Kenya side of Terra Natura visitors can see the Sambura Settlement where gazelles, zebras, wildebeest, and other antelopes wonder around together freely. At the Serengeti are the tall giraffes, and at the Mara River and the Masai Mara Lookout there is an assortment of wild animals, and vegetation.
There are two restaurants at the African section of the park Carnivore Restaurant and the Lunatic Express Pub & Lounge while at the Iberian section the two restaurants are the El Refugio del Lobo and El Humedal del Ajauque.
At Aqua Natura people can swim with the sea lions. Tickets for this new experience come in at €20 for Adults and €16 for children and seniors. The swimming pools consist of two main areas Prison Island where children need to be accompanied by adults and Grave Island where none of the chutes are more than two metres in height. At the Rufui River one can grab a float and gently float down the river. Water chutes at Aqua Natura include the Black Hole, Kamikaze, Adventure River, Speed Hole and the four laned Gentle Chutes. There are tow restaurants at Aqua Natura the Mnemba Island Bar & Terrace and the Jetty Bar. There are also a number of kiosks scattered throughout the park selling ice cream, drinks and snacks.
At the moment the park has a special rated of free entrance into Aqua Natura for forty days of summer from the 20th of May until the 10th of July when one purchases a ticket to Terra Natura. Normal entrance tickets are €16 for an adult and €12 for children and seniors. On consecutive days ticket prices are €11 for adults and €8 for children and seniors.
Tickets for Terra Natura Murcia can be bought at the gate on the day for €16 for adults and €12 for adults and children. A season ticket pass can be bought for €69 for children and €90 for adults. Group prices are available for €14 for adults and €10 for children.
Opening times for Terra Natura Murcia are from 10 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon in January, February, March, October, November and December, and at the weekends from March until 6 in the evening. In the months of April and May until 6 in the evening and at the weekends until 7 in the evenings. In July and August Terra Natur Murica shuts at 8 in the evening. The first week of September shuts at 8 and the rest of the month at 7.
