Playa Flamenca is a purpose built for tourism resort located on the southern Costa Blanca in Spain along the N332 heading south from Alicante, Torrevieja and Punta Prima and north of La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor.
Playa Flamenca is on the Orihuela Costa which is the most southerly stretch of the Costa Blanca. Playa Flamenca is also a relatively new resort which was founded in the 1970´s by Flemish investors and from a barren stretch of coastline has grown into an attractive sea side resort with blue flag beaches with first class amenities, villas and apartments for rent, as well as bars, restaurants and pubs. Many expats have bought homes and have set up businesses in Playa Flamenca making British visitors feel very welcome and at home.
Playa Flamenca weather follows a Mediterranean climate pattern which means that the summers are hot and humid without any rain. Temperatures in the summer months seldom fall below thirty degrees centigrade even at night. Playa Flamenca prides itself with having over three hundred days of sunshine a year and one of the healthiest climates in Europe. What little rain does fall on the resort falls in the winter months but temperatures easily climb over twenty degrees centigrade during this mild season. Autumn weather which is still very hot but without the humidity is often favoured by property owners who come to Playa Flamenca and spend a vacation in their homes. During the spring the weather is variable. It can be very hot one day and cold and wet the next day.
Golf courses near Playa flamenca are La Ramblas, Campoamor and La Finca. Playa Flamenca has three main beaches at Cala Peñas, Cala Mosca and Cala Estaca.
Market day in Playa Flamenca is on Saturday and shoppers can purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing, toys, leather goods including hand bags and good quality leather shoes.
The Flamenca Beach Centro Comercial is the largest of its kind overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. At the Flamenca Beach Centro Comercial is a whole host of bars, pubs and restaurants which offer live entertainment in the form of karaoke eveinings or live bands and singers. Playa Flamenca nightlife comes in thee form of the Blues Brothers Act can be found at the Temple Bar, the Plan B Rock Group performs at the Celtic Drop on Wednesday nights, Nikki G The Voice sings at Rosie O’Grady, Rufus Stone performs at the Lansdowne on Thursday nights. There are also many tribute performers making the rounds in Playa Flamenca.

If Playa Flamenca is an option for a holiday destination then holiday makers can choose to fly into to airports which are Murcia which is the closest around a twenty minute transfer and Alicante which is the main hub on the Northern and Southern Costa Blanca.

An information-filled hub. I do have to admit that I had to use F equals 9/5 C + 32 to cahnge your 30C to 86F. Now that is a hot night.
