Marineland Costa Brava

Marineland Costa Brava is the only dolphinarium, marine zoo and water park in Catalonia. The water park is located on the Carretera Malgrat a Palafolls just outside the centre of Palafolls on the Costa Brava in Spain. The sea side resorts of Tossa de Mar, Blanes, Loret de Mar, Santa Susanna, Pineda de Mar and Malgrat de Mar are located close by. The telephone number at Marineland Costa Brava is 937 654 802.

If the weather is warm enough then Marineland Costa Brava opens its gates on the 1^st of May and shuts them again on the 30^thof September. Otherwise officially Marineland Costa Brava opens on the 9^th of May and will remain open for the summer holidays and close again on the 16^th of September.

Marineland Costa Brava has season opening times. The mid season starts from the 9^th of May until the23rd of June and again from the 5^th until the 16^th of September. During this time Marineland Costa Brava opens at 10:00 in the morning until 18:00 for the water park and the marine zoo opens at 12:30 until 18:00. The high season lasts from the 24^th of June until the 4^th of September. The water park is open from 10:00 in the morning until 18:30 while the marine zoo is open from 11 in the morning until 18:00.

In the mid season admission costs €17.50 for adults and children over the age of 12 and €11 for children. During the high season admission to Marineland Costa Brava costs €24.50 for adults and €16.00 for children. Family packs are available for €65. Family packs are available for families which consist of two adults and two children.

At the Marine Zoo one can watch a Dolphin Show, Sea Lion Show Exotic Bird shows and also see other animals. At the water park youngsters can enjoy the Mini Park which is very shallow and ideal for those swimmers still gaining in water confidence. The more daring members of the public can enjoy rides and flumes such as the Tornado, Boomerang, Crazy Race, Black Hole, Kamikaze, Super Slalom, Twister and more swimming pools of varying depths.

Show times at the Marine Zoo are at 11:00 and 16:00 for the exotic bird show, 12:30 and 16:30 for the sea lion show and 12:30 and 17:00 for the dolphin show.

Food wise there is the Mare Nostrum Restaurant which is located near the aviary and has a wide range of food and menus available. Throughout Marineland Costa Brava there are kiosks selling hamburgers, ice creams, pizzas, snacks and drinks. Throughout the pleasure resort there are picnic areas and grassy areas for relaxing. There is also a gift shop, changing rooms, cloak room, first aid bay, services for the disabled and a public telephone.

People who are on holiday in Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar, Blanes, Calella, Pineda de Mar, Santa Susanna and Malgrat de Mar will be pleased to know that they can catch the complimentary bus to Marineland Costa Brava and return again to their hotels, apartments and villas in the evening.
