Javea Restaurants

Javea is one of the most popular villa holiday destinations on the Northern Costa Blanca in Spain. Javea is frequented by international visitors especially form the United Kingdom, France and Germany and during the summer there are many foreign plated cars on the roads of Javea. The sea side resort has some fabulous weather and glorious beaches and is also a base for exploring the surrounding resorts such as Moraira, Denia and Benidorm with its nightlife and theme parks.

Javea has well over one hundred restaurants serving various cuisines from Thai, Chinese, Spanish, German, Austrian, French, Indonesian, British, Fish, Irish and Japanese Sushi. On will fins that most of the restaurants are concentrated around the Arenal and the beachfront, although many will also be found on the Carretera Cabo La Nao as well. Meson de Paco, Masena, Montgo Restaurant Javea and Los Almendros which are located on the roads coming into Javea from Benitachell and Denia are popular restaurants serving quality food too. The Riu Rau on the Costa Nova and L’Echalote are popular with the locals and here one can try some fine dining. The restaurant at the Lighthouse on the Cabo La Nao is only open during the busy tourist season.

Many Javea restaurants offer a menu del Dia for less than €10. The Austriaco Café Wien serves German and Austrian style foods and also has a bakery. Scallops Javea is very popular with British expats and holidaymakers offering British styled foods and menus under €10 including a bottle of wine per person. Pepo Pizzaria has an excellent Menu del Dia only available at lunch time including wine and the tomato aioli is fantastic. Masena on the outskirts of Javea offers fine dining at affordable prices when one orders the Menu del Dia which also applies to the Riu Rau on the Costa Nova. Spanish bars serving Tapas will give a free Tapa for each drink ordered. Tutti Frutti on the Arenal has the best Italian ice cream and Fontana serves the best paella on the sea front. For lovers of Italian cuisine the Lungo Mare comes highly recommended. The Taj Mahal across the road form the Arenal is an Indian style buffet restaurant where the lunch time special provides excellent value for money.

Restaurants Javea provide a good value for money dining experience whether one is local or on holiday. It is possible to sit outside almost all year round and some locals have a covered terrace area for winter dining. Eating out at the Arenal as a family can be a great experience as children can play outside on the beach at the various play areas along the Arenal beachfront while adults can relax and enjoy themselves.
