Corvera Airport

The Murcia region has a new international airport opening its doors in the autumn of 2011. The Corvera Airport will be located near Murcia but the nearest town to Corvera International Airport is Condado de Alhama.

La Corvera Airport will bring in more tourists to spend their holidays on Murcia Beaches and the Costa Calida, Aguilas, Mazarron and Cartagena will benefit massively from this new airport and puts the area firmly on the tourist map. Construction of all the roads to La Corvera International Airport Murcia are complete, as is the airport tower and much of the terminal and tarmac.

La Corvera Airport Murcia will have an underground station for direct access to the AVE offering a fast train service. La Corvera Airport anticipates 1.5 million tourists to be coming to Murcia through its doors will offer international flights as well as domestic flights to Madrid and Barcelona. Despite La Corvera being the bigger airport when completed San Javier near Murcia is expected to remain open and service tourists coming to Torrevieja, Villamartin, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, La Zenia and many more resorts.
