Benidorm Entertainment

There is much to be said for the entertainment in Benidorm, because once you have had your day at the beach and for some people returning to their hotels and apartments to have dinner and turn in for the night that would be enough, but for others the fun is just beginning.

Benidorm entertainment of course includes spending days at the theme parks of Benidorm of Aqualandia, Terra Mitica, Terra Natura and Mundomar, but of course Benidorm has so much more to offer.

The Benidorm Palace is probably the best known of all Benidorm evening entertainment. At this venue you can book a table, to watch the show, and enjoy a three course gourmet meal with a bottle of wine just before the entertainment begins.

The main discos in Benidorm charge an admission fee of twenty-five Euros. This usually includes a free drink, so hang onto your ticket, and choose the most expensive one, while some admissions include a free t-shirt too. The KM Dance Club, Penelopes, Mansion Dance Club, Ku Dance Club make up the top discotheques of Benidorm. The clubs usually attract top DJs such as Judge Jules, Lisa Loud, Jeremy Healy and Brandon Block.

Cabaret, Showbars and Saloons offer all kinds of live entertainment such as Tribute Acts, Comedians, Drag Acts and Magicians. In some pubs and bars you can have fun taking part in Karaoke nights. There is something for everyone but after a certain hour the entertainment is meant for adults only. Sticky Vicky is something of an institution in Benidorm and not to be missed in the Benidorm entertainment programme.

Tribute Acts are very popular and almost as good as the real deal. In Benidorm you can watch Michael Jackson, Girls, Aloud, Boyzone, Black Eyed Peas, Robbie Williams, Sister Act, the Bee Gees, Blues Brothers, the Eagles, Lady Gaga, The Petty Coats, Buddy Holly, Peatloaf, Johnny Cash and Showaddywaddy.

Artists singing under their own names some with original music include Deb & Her, Pablo Bloom and the R’ and R’ Time Machine, Degsy, Dean Ryan, Karen Dee, Scott Michael, Donna Glass, Words and Music, Soosie Kay, Ricky Dale, Ricky Price, SOS, Dickie Ray, Cheryle Louise and Aisha Nicole.

Comedians doing the Benidorm circuit include Rikki Stevens, MorPheus, Campus, Jason Kane, Ian Oogly and Micky Lewys. The later the evening becomes the more adult the comedy becomes too, so if families wish to watch the comedians it is best to leave around eight in the evening.

If you wish to take your children along the following entertainers are especially for them. There are two clown acts in Benidorm. Ian Oogly and Louie the Clown provide fun and laughter for the whole family. Family comedians include Gareth Fulton, Rikki Stevens, Campus and Jason Kane. Rikki Stevens also has his ventriloquist act featuring his assistant Fred the monkey. Michael Jackson the mini Jackson sings and dances in a thirty minute show.

Strictly adult entertainment comes in the form of the comedians Dangerous Brian, Micky Lewys, the Drag Queens Levi and Campus, Hypnotists Gareth Fulton and MorPheus. These entertainers owing to their acts start their programmes around two in the morning and finishes in time for you to have your breakfast.

Of course another good night entertainment can be spent in the casinos, where visitors are required to dress smartly and bring ID. There are two casinos in the area, one of which is in Benidorm itself the Casino Mediterraneo and then further down the N332 towards Villajoyosa you can play at the Costa Blanca Casino.
